OneLyric Terms of Service

Art. 1Scope

These Terms apply to every relationship between 15C (the "Operator") and users concerning the use of OneLyric (the "Service"). The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

Art. 2Accounts

1. On first launch, the Service automatically creates an anonymous account and does not require your name or email address. You may optionally set up sign-in with a Google account or an email address, which lets you keep your data after changing devices or reinstalling the app. If you set up sign-in, you must keep your registration information accurate and are responsible for managing your credentials (such as your password). Without sign-in, your data may be unrecoverable after a device reset or uninstall.
2. The Service is not available to anyone under 13. Users aged 13 to 17 must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian. Because the Operator has no means of verifying age with official documents, we ask you to self-declare one of the following when you give consent:
   • I am 18 or older
   • I am 13 to 17 and a parent or guardian has consented to my use of the Service (including subscribing to the paid Premium plan)
   The Operator is not liable for damage resulting from a false declaration, and may suspend an account found to be in breach of this paragraph. Under Japanese civil law, a contract (including a Premium subscription) entered into by a minor without the consent of a legal guardian may be rescinded.

Art. 3Diary content and AI analysis

1. Diary text and diary images you send ("Diary Content") are sent to the Operator's servers and to external services such as OpenAI and Musixmatch for AI analysis of emotions and themes and for song recommendations. Premium users can also create AI-generated illustrations from their diary text. See the Privacy Policy for details.
2. You retain the copyright and all other rights in your Diary Content. You permit the Operator to use Diary Content only to provide the Service (running AI analysis and song recommendations, AI image generation, and sending it to external services as needed for these purposes).
3. AI analysis results (summaries, emotions, themes, etc.), AI-generated images and song recommendations are provided for reference only, and their accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed. Generated images are not intended to realistically depict any specific real person.

Art. 4Music information

The Service searches Musixmatch's database for songs based on your diary. Each result links to "Open in Spotify" when the song's Spotify track is known, or otherwise to the song's page on Musixmatch. Songs are played through the linked services, subject to their own terms.

For songs in the results, the Service may display part of the lyrics (a snippet) from Musixmatch's lyrics database. Lyrics display is limited to snippets, within the scope of the Operator's license agreement with Musixmatch. Copyright in lyrics belongs to the respective rights holders, and their accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed.

Art. 5Premium plan and billing

1. In addition to free features, the Service offers a paid Premium plan (an auto-renewing subscription). Prices and billing periods are as shown on the purchase screen and in Google Play.
2. The Premium plan renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. To stop renewal, cancel from Subscriptions in Google Play before the next renewal date. After cancelling, you can keep using Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
3. Billing and subscription management are handled through RevenueCat's platform, and payments are processed by Google Play. The Operator does not hold your credit card number or other payment details.
4. Refunds follow Google Play's terms and procedures. As a rule, the Operator does not issue refunds outside Google Play, except where cancellation or a refund is required by law.
5. The Operator will give advance notice in the app or elsewhere before changing the content or price of the Premium plan.
6. To keep the Service running reliably, Premium AI image generation is limited to 3 images per user per 24 hours. Other features may also have usage limits to prevent abuse.

Art. 5-2Rewards for watching ads

1. Free-plan users may optionally watch a rewarded ad to the end to receive one of the following rewards:
   • One additional search for the day
   • One use of "Search from Text and Image" (up to once a day; valid for about 30 minutes after it is granted and expires if unused)
2. Daily counts reset at midnight Japan Standard Time (UTC+9).
3. Rewards are granted only when the ad network and the Operator's servers confirm that the ad was watched to completion. Depending on ad inventory or network conditions, an ad may not be available or a reward may not be granted.
4. Rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or carried over. Their content and number may change.

Art. 6Prohibited conduct

When using the Service, you must not:

1. Violate laws or public order and morals
2. Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other rights of the Operator, other users or third parties
3. Circumvent the Service's usage limits or access controls, or access it without authorization (including continuous automated calls or mass creation of anonymous accounts)
4. Copy or redistribute song information or lyrics obtained through the Service beyond what these Terms allow
5. Use the AI analysis or AI image generation features for inappropriate purposes, such as defaming real people or generating discriminatory content
6. Engage in any other conduct the Operator reasonably considers inappropriate

Art. 7Suspension, changes and termination

The Operator may suspend all or part of the Service, or change or end it, for system maintenance, failures of external services (music data providers, payment platforms, cloud infrastructure, etc.) or other unavoidable reasons. If the Service is ended, the Operator will give advance notice in the app or elsewhere wherever possible. Any damage this causes to users is governed by Article 8.

Art. 8Disclaimers and limitation of liability

1. The Service is provided as is, and the Operator does not warrant its completeness, accuracy, usefulness or fitness for a particular purpose. This paragraph does not exempt the Operator from the liability for damages set out in the next paragraph.
2. If a user suffers damage due to the Operator's breach of obligation or tort, the Operator is liable to compensate for that damage. However, only where the Operator was not acting intentionally or with gross negligence (that is, in cases of ordinary negligence), the Operator's liability is limited to direct and ordinary damage actually incurred by the user, up to the total Premium fees the user paid to the Operator in the 12 months before the damage occurred. This limit does not apply where the Operator acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
3. The Service depends on APIs from providers outside Japan (such as OpenAI and Musixmatch). Outages, specification changes or discontinuation of these external services may make part or all of the Service unavailable.
4. Emotion analysis, summaries, song recommendations, AI-generated images and other AI-generated content provided by the Service are not medical care, psychological counseling or other professional advice, and are not intended for diagnosis or treatment. If you feel unwell, are in an emergency, or have thoughts of suicide, do not rely on the Service — contact a doctor, a professional organization or a crisis line in your area directly.

Art. 9Changes to these Terms

The Operator may change these Terms in response to changes in law or in the Service. For material changes, the Operator will announce the new content and its effective date in the app or elsewhere in advance, and ask you to agree again in the app.

Art. 11Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Saitama District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to the Service. However, if you are a consumer living outside Japan, this Article does not limit any rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
